one step into Camino Frances
In summer 2006 I start a solitary search along the Camino Frances with the objective of finding elements of Taoism in Christianity. The now again modern concept of a pilgrimage seems to be the ancient correspondent to an Oriental way of life attributed to Lao Tze. My journey takes me from Vienna to Milan, from there to Monaco and Nice, and further on to Toulouse, Pau and Lourdes, where I spend most of the journey's time in the Parque National de Pyrenees, exhausting myself so much that I eventually make only a 100 km of the Spanish part into the Camino Frances having to fly back to Vienna from Vitoria-Gasteiz, therefore I made only one step into Camino Frances, which is a total 600 km long after the French border. Both natural beauty and cultural intensity, as well as my religious background topic make this a recommendable journey. I still plan to finish the route till Finisterre.
